A Three-Part Epoxy Flooring Upgrade
We provided a specialized flooring solution tailored to each area within the facility:
- Receiving Area: Installed a traditional grey, slip-resistant epoxy flooring to withstand heavy foot traffic and ensure safety near the overhead door.
- Employee Break Room: Applied a sleek, black and silver metallic epoxy coating to create a modern and polished look.
- Machine Shop & Maintenance Area: Installed a durable, heavy-flake epoxy floor inspired by our favorite football team — a “Packers” mix of green, gold, black, and white flakes for a unique, eye-catching design.
Efficient Flooring Installation with Minimal Disruption
Despite the complexity of the project, our team completed the flooring upgrade within just two days in late January. Our process began with diamond grinding to remove the failing coatings and properly prepare the concrete surface for optimal epoxy adhesion. Each flooring system was then applied using a combination of primers, base coats, broadcast materials (sand or flakes), grout coats, and protective topcoats.
By working efficiently, we minimized disruption to the client’s operations, allowing them to continue their work with little interruption.
