When you’re responsible for keeping one of the nation’s largest shipping and logistics companies running smoothly, downtime isn’t an option. That’s exactly the challenge the team at the FedEx Ground Houston Hub was facing when they reached out to EverLine Coatings.
Their distribution center spanning over 3.7 million square feet of concrete needed urgent restriping across a 740,000-square-foot section of its lot. This included everything from truck parking lines and fire lanes to complex stencil work at loading docks and high-traffic driveway areas. And they needed it done fast.
Delivering Under a One-Month Timeline
FedEx Ground had a strict deadline: complete the entire project within a month of contracting. But speed wasn’t the only concern. The work needed to be flexible enough to accommodate constantly shifting truck traffic, busy loading zones, and tight safety protocols at one of the busiest facilities in the area.
They found EverLine Coatings through a Google search for parking lot line striping and after reviewing our services, they knew we were up for the challenge.
Flexible Scheduling and Durable Results
Our team delivered a full power wash and restripe of the massive parking area, which included:
- 59,000 linear feet of lines for truck parking and fire lanes
- Loading dock stencils and boxes
- Large 8-foot directional traffic stencils and hatch zones
- Durable MMA (TBL Durables) striping for main driveways—designed to last longer than traditional paint
By using our TBL Durables product, we helped FedEx test a more resilient solution for their highest-traffic driveways—ones that usually see paint fade after only 6 to 8 months.
Throughout the project, our team maintained constant communication with FedEx’s facility staff, coordinating around peak traffic times and staying nimble in a fast-moving environment.
