A large industrial complex in Savannah, GA needed its parking lots sealcoated and restriped without shutting down tenant operations. The project called for careful coordination and communication to keep the process smooth for both the property manager and the tenants working on site throughout. The client came to EverLine Coatings and Services of the Lowcountry on a referral from another client.
Sealcoating and Striping Across Four Lots and Two Industrial Buildings
EverLine Coatings and Services of the Lowcountry completed sealcoating and striping across 4 separate parking lots at 2 large industrial buildings, covering more than 160,000 square feet of pavement and over 500 parking stalls.
A Three-Section Plan Built Around Tenant Operations
To keep tenants working throughout the week, EverLine Coatings and Services of the Lowcountry worked closely with the property manager to split the project into 3 sections, each completed in 2 days. Every section followed the same sequence:
- Day 1: Cleaning the lot with a ride-on power sweeper, followed by two coats of sealcoating
- Day 2: Striping the section once the sealcoat had properly cured
This phased approach allowed the sealcoat enough cure time before striping while keeping each section’s disruption to tenants as brief as possible. The full project, all 3 sections combined, was completed in just 6 days.
