The Challenges Faced by Mall of America
As a world-class destination, Mall of America aims to provide visitors with the best possible experience. However, the neglected condition of their north lot’s asphalt was hindering their efforts. Not only did it detract from the overall appearance of the facility, but it also affected the comfort and safety of visitors. One property manager even remarked that he couldn’t comfortably ride his motorcycle through this lot.
Taking Asphalt Repair to the Next Level
To transform Mall of America’s north lot, we embarked on a large-scale project. Our team completed over 100 infrared repairs across multiple parking lots on their property. The extent of the damage was significant, necessitating extensive preparation and the application of fresh asphalt to restore the parking lots to their former glory.
This project marked a significant milestone for our team. It was our first multiple-day, large-scale endeavor, and we encountered various challenges along the way. However, through our dedication and problem-solving skills, we were able to address these issues, ultimately leaving the client delighted and requesting future work opportunities. Additionally, we managed to complete the entire project outside of the mall’s operational hours, including multiple overnight shifts for our crew.
