Root Elementary School faced the challenge of worn, aging pavement across its outdoor activity spaces—including the basketball court, four square area, pavilion, and running track. With new playground equipment being installed, the Parent/Teacher Organization wanted the surrounding surfaces to look just as fresh, safe, and welcoming for students returning in the fall.

When it came time to choose a contractor, the school looked to a trusted referral. EverLine Coatings had previously refreshed the basketball courts at Holt Middle School, and the positive results from that project led to a recommendation for Root Elementary. Flexible Scheduling to Fit School Needs
Originally contracted to update the basketball court area, the scope of work expanded to include the running track as well. To help the school stretch its budget further, they were able to secure donated paint for the project. Our team coordinated closely with school staff to work around playground installation and school activities, remaining flexible and communicative every step of the way.
Custom School Logo Adds Spirit to the Courts
The project involved thorough cleaning, crack filling, and sealcoating, followed by line painting and the creation of a custom stencil featuring the school logo. These upgrades gave the basketball court and track a clean, professional finish while reinforcing school spirit.
