As an existing building in Calgary was being retrofitted for a new tenant, safety quickly became part of the conversation. With crews moving in and out and work happening in phases, the client needed interior walkways that would guide foot traffic clearly and reliably. These paths had to function immediately and continue performing once the space became fully operational.

The client had worked with EverLine Coatings before and knew the value of bringing in a team that understands active job sites. Rather than relying on temporary markings, they wanted permanent safety walkways that would hold up to daily use while offering strong visibility and traction.
Building the Walkway from the Ground Up
Our team installed an epoxy floor coating along with interior line painting and warehouse floor markings to create long lasting safety walkways. Each step focused on durability, grip, and visual clarity so the finished product would support both safety and workflow.
Accuracy at Every Stage of Installation
The process began with surface preparation. The team ground the new pathway areas and shotblasted the edges to create clean, straight lines that would define the walkway. A primer was applied, followed by a layer of sand to increase traction underfoot. Once the base was set, a two part green epoxy system formed the body of the walkway. Two part yellow epoxy lines were then added to outline the path and improve contrast.
Because other contractors were working throughout the space, access was not always available. Our team coordinated the project plan in phases, working closely with the broader construction schedule and adjusting work windows as needed. This flexible approach kept the project moving forward while minimizing disruptions to other trades, with the full scope of work spanning approximately four weeks.
